2. Main Achievements

Report Generator

Most features of the Report Generator will be implemented by end of January 2013. However some minor changes are still to be done.

Review of VOs with low number of tickets or without any tickets in GGUS and checking the members of the VO mailing lists.

GGUS web portal

  • Number consecutively entries in history and enable pointers between them.
  • Updated the info section with new "did you knows?"
  • Check for duplicate attachment names and display attachment name in comment as link.
  • ETA field usable for tickets with priority urgent and less urgent now.
  • Send reminders to the notified sites.
  • Fixed bugs in master-slave and parent-child relations.
  • Implemented popup window showing the site being in downtime for team and alarm ticket submit form.

GGUS system

  • Migrated GGUS mail boxes to new mail infrastructure.
  • Fixed bug in mail template of verification notifications.
  • Restructed synchronization GGUS - VOMS

Interfaces with other ticketing systems

  • Fixing bugs in interface to CERN SNOW.
  • Implementation of interface for IBERGRID RT ticketing system ongoing.

High availability

  • Skipped auto-switching approach. Switching to the backup machines will be done using a management script that can be run by GGUS admins or the KIT on-call service at any time.

3. Issues and Mitigation

Collaboration of GGUS with CSIRT Assessment of adaption of GGUS access model to meet the needs of CSIRT. Still waiting for clear requirements by CSIRT. This discussion is ongoing.
Collaboration of GGUS and PRACE Defining work flows for routing tickets between GGUS and PRACE RT. Waiting for PRACE setting up an RT ticketing system. Provided contact with M.Liska for assisting in setting up an RT instance.

4. Plans for the next period

GGUS report generator

Implement some minor requirements that came up lately.

GGUS structure

  • Integration of Operations Portal in GGUS. This is scheduled for the February release.
  • Define a concept for allowing additional access to GGUS without certificate. Discussion ongoing.
  • Fully integrate CMS VO in GGUS and retire interface to Savannah.

Interfaces with other ticketing systems

  • Implement interface to PRACE RT system.
  • Implement interface to DANTE ticketing system.
  • Finish interface with IBERGRID RT.
