2. ACTIVITY REPORT
2.1. Progress Summary
- Regular attendance to Operations and Operations Management Board meetings.
- Coordination of NGI_AEGIS sites operations.
- Operation of AEGIS CA.
- Operation of BDII/WMS/LB/VOMS/PX/LFC/Pakiti services for AEGIS, CMPC.AEGIS.RS, ATLAS, CMS, SEEGRID, VO.AGINFRA.EU, VO.SEMAGROW.EU and SEE VOs.
- Maintenance of CREAM CE, WMS, and LB staged rollout services.
- Participation in staged rollout test for EMI.cream-ce.sl6.x86_64-1.16.2 (https://rt.egi.eu/rt/Ticket/Display.html?id=6186).
- Participation in staged rollout test for EMI.wms.sl6.x86_64-3.6.1 (https://rt.egi.eu/rt/Ticket/Display.html?id=6319).
- Participation in staged rollout test for EMI.cream-torque.sl6.x86_64-2.1.2 (https://rt.egi.eu/rt/Ticket/Display.html?id=6321).
- Participation in staged rollout test for EMI.cream.sl6.x86_64-1.14.6 (https://rt.egi.eu/rt/Ticket/Display.html?id=6400).
- Participation in staged rollout test for EMI.wms.sl6.x86_64-3.6.2 (https://rt.egi.eu/rt/Ticket/Display.html?id=6535).
- All NGI_AEGIS sites have configured their site-BDIIs to be in concordance with glue-validator probe (org.bdii.GLUE2-Validate).
- Pointing out the issue related to wrong parsing of the information of local jobs (submitted to cluster by non Grid users) on UMD-3 CREAM that causes 444444 publishing problem (https://helpdesk.aegis.rs/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=122).
- NGI AEGIS site AEGIS01-IPB-SCL continued its support to DRIHM collaboration through support of drihm.eu VO (providing computing and storage resources, and core services). IPB participated in DRIHM telcon and obtained access to DRIHM “ICT Status and Roadmap” page that will be used for coordination of operations instead of the EGI wiki.
- VO ops.vo.egee-see.org has been removed from VOMS server at AEGIS01-IPB-SCL due to decommission of this VO (https://helpdesk.aegis.rs/index.php?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=124).
- Participating in the activities of EGI Resource Allocation Task Force (https://wiki.egi.eu/wiki/Resource_Allocation_Task_Force): testing of the resource allocation tool was performed.
- All NGI_AEGIS sites updated CA RPMs to the latest version (EGI Trust Anchor release 1.55-1).
- NGI instance of Argus service for NGI_AEGIS was deployed. The NGI Argus instance fetches the list of suspended user DNs from the central instance (https://helpdesk.aegis.rs/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=126).
- NGI_AEGIS joined Distributed Competence Centre (https://wiki.egi.eu/wiki/Distributed_Competence_Centre) with the expertise in compute services, MPI, core services and application porting and testing in the area of physics, chemistry, engineering and materials science.
- NGI_AEGIS SAM instance was updated to SAM Update-22.
- NGI_AEGIS sites are coordinated to successfully execute new MPI probes (eu.egi.mpi.SimpleJob, eu.egi.mpi.ComplexJob and eu.egi.mpi.EnvSanityCheck) that are introduced with the new SAM update.
- Maintenance of NGI_AEGIS Helpdesk (https://helpdesk.aegis.rs/) and AEGIS web site (http://www.aegis.rs/). New IP address was assigned to NGI_AEGIS helpdesk due to migration of servers Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) to the new network.
- Participating in tests being executed after each GGUS release for testing the functionality of interface from GGUS to external ticketing systems: https://helpdesk.aegis.rs/index.php?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=125.
- GGUS team was informed about issues in synchronization between GGUS and NGI-AEGIS Helpdesk xGUS instance (https://helpdesk.aegis.rs/?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=123).
- Dealing in timely manner with security issues broadcasted by the EGI-CSIRT team.
