2. ACTIVITY REPORT
2.1. Progress Summary
Grid services run smoothly on all sites. ROD shift works well. Update packets are installed and rolled-out is performed. The GridKa School 2013 was successfully
2.2. Main Achievements
The following are concrete achievements of the NGI-DE sites:
- TU Dresden ZIH conducted the installation of CVFMS for Atlas software management and the VOMS server updates for Atlas and SNOplus.
- Wuppertal performed a migration to RHEL 6 on the full cluster, the decommissioning of the CREAM CE, installation of an ARC CE, CVMFS update, as well as dCache update to 2.6.9.
- DESY-HH maintains a smooth running of the infrastructure with almost 8.000 job slots and 7.7PB of disk space (slight increase in the disk space during last three months +400TB). In addition, all worker nodes are migrated to SL6/emi3 during the reported period and the storage was migrated to the sha-2 compliant version.
- LRZ registered and certified a new site "LRZ"
- The site ITWM takes part in the EMI staged rolled-out and performed update for GOCDB failover instance.
- FZJ integrated the UNICORE Backup Registry at KIT into UNICORE services.
