Motivation

Establish virtual teams that build demonstrators in collaboration with ESFRI projects to show integration of ESFRI applications with EGI. A new virtual team would be setup for each of the application integration activities. Such a virtual team should perform technical activity in ~6 months and should deliver a working demonstrator of the application on EGI.

Output

The output of a virtual team established for an ESFRI demonstrator project should deliver an application that is integrated into EGI and shows how a specific community could benefit from EGI resources and services. The furtherdevelopment of the demonstrator into a production service should be undertaken outside of the virtual team that delivered the demonstrator, for example in an EC project or other type of funded collaboration.

Tasks

Perform the specific software development, integration, testing and documentation activities that are required to have an EGI-specific version of the given ESFRI application.

Members

The members will be selected based on the relationship of NGIs to the given ESFRI project and on the skill requirements of the given software use case of that ESFRI project.
