| The Glossary Coordination Group is established since there is need to have an common glossary document that will be valid for the all functional areas within EGI. This document should provide a common reference for the meaning of various terms used in the EGI context. As well as defining terms, this glossary should limit the scope of meaning of terms used in the EGI policies and procedures.

| * Request for the introduction of new terms and definitions or review should be submitted to the mailing list and the Chair will decide what is the most appropriate mode to deal with a request.

| * Wherever possible, GCG will agree on proposed terms and definition by clear consensus, as determined by the Chair.
