This report covers support activities to existing user communities, and belongs to EGI-InSPIRE SA1 (Task SA1.7 - Support Teams). The outreach to new communities activities that NGIs perform under NA2 are gathered through the Virtual Teams. However, there may be outreach activities that do outside of VTs. You can report about these in your 2.2.3 paragraph as well.

2. ACTIVITY REPORT

2.1. User Support achievements

France Grilles organised the SUCCES 2013 days (see conferences).

France Grilles attended the JRES conference (10-13 December in Montpellier, France). This event https://2013.jres.org is the main event gathering all IT people around French academic institutes : more than 1500 attendees, 70 booths, more than 150 sessions. France Grilles had the chance to give its talk (https://conf-ng.jres.org/2013/planning.html#article_66) presenting operations, services and user communities the first day. This allowed a lot of people to come on the France Grilles booth to ask questions. The VIP and GateLAB talk ("VIP et GateLab : retour d'expérience" - https://conf-ng.jres.org/2013/planning.html#article_23) was the occasion to present the work of a French team on the infrastructure and with the help of the services of France Grilles.

The October newsletter edition including articles about EGI TF and SUCCES days was published.

2.2. Plans

France Grilles is currently organising a DIRAC and iRODS tutorial (2+1 days). It will be hold in Clermont-Ferrand in February.
