2. ACTIVITY REPORT
2.1. Progress Summary
In the reporting period, NGI_DE maintained the smooth running of all Grid services. The regional operation meetings were organized regularly, where problems were discussed and informations as well as experiences were exchanged. ROD shift runs well. Software packages were updated.
2.2. Main Achievements
The following are concrete achievements of the NGI-DE sites:
- TU Dresden ZIH performed migration of dCache to new hardware (server and storage)
- Uni-Freiburg upgraded the node operating system to SL6 and added ATLAS mcore queue in the operation.
- FZJ upgraded dCache.
- In DESY-HH 30kHS new worker nodes power was commissioned to the cluster (as the replacement and partly as total increase of the power). This site also commisioned the argus ngi server for the NGI_DE(/CH). In addition, complete cvmfs stratum structure was built and put in production (stratum-0 for the ilc vo; stratum-1 for various vo's supported at our site).
