Introduction
This Virtual Organisation contributes to the ELIXIR effort of building a sustainable European infrastructure for biological information, supporting life science research and its translation to medicine, agriculture, bioindustries and society. The Virtual Organisation is part of the ELIXIR Compute Platform and federates resources and services (HTC and cloud) from ELIXIR and EGI institutes.
The VO is operated jointly by the ELIXIR Competence Centre of the EGI-Engage H2020 project. Further information about the Competence Centreis available at https://wiki.egi.eu/wiki/CC-DARIAH.
Acceptable use policy
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all members of the "vo.elixir-europe.org" Virtual Organisation, hereafter referred to as the VO, with reference to use of the EGI Infrastructure. Members of the EGI-Engage Competence Centre (https://wiki.egi.eu/wiki/CC-DARIAH) owns and gives authority to this policy. The goal of the VO is to contribute to ELIXIR, the sustainable European infrastructure for biological information, supporting life science research and its translation to medicine, agriculture, bioindustries and society.
Members and Managers of the VO agree to be bound by the Acceptable Use Policy (https://documents.egi.eu/document/74), VO Security Policy and other relevant EGI Policies and Procedures [1], and to use the EGI Infrastructure only in the furtherance of the stated goal of the VO.

How to register
The VO is currently under setup and testing. Registration is not yet open for anyone, except members and partners of the ELIXIR Competence Centre of EGI-Engage. Please email cc-elixir@mailman.egi.eu if you want to join the VO.
