Email lists
- There are three types of email lists in EGI:*
1. Google lists: end with "@egi.eu" and are managed by Rob and Steven
2. Mailman email lists: end with "@mailman.egi.eu": https://mailman.egi.eu/mailman/listinfo Managed by work package leaders, deputies, task leaders, etc.
3. Request Tracker list: end with "@rt.egi.eu": https://rt.egi.eu
- Generic email lists:*
1. ucst@egi.eu members: UCST (Steve, Gergely, Karolis, Nuno, Richard will be added soon) Anybody can post to the list (also non-members!) Used for internal coordination with the EGI.eu User Community Support Team.
2. ucst@mailman.egi.eu members: UCST + several other people Anybody can post to the list (also non-members!) Used as an access control mechanism in the "Requirements" queue of the RT system Do not use it for communication! Karolis will check whether RT access could be managed with a more intelligent mechanism, or whether we should restrict posting to this email list.
3. community-support@egi.eu members: UCST Anybody can post to the list (also non-members!) Used on the webpages as contact address. Do not use to post messages We will see at the time of the next Website update whether we need it or use ucst@egi.eu instead
4. inspire-members@mailman.egi.eu Only a few people can post to this list. Everybody who works in the EGI-InSPIRE project is subscribed.
5. announce@mailman.egi.eu Only a few people (the dissemination team) can post to this list. This is the broadest list that exists for the EGI community. It is used to inform the community about events, results that are to everybody's interest.
