2.1. Progress Summary
Midleware Deployment
We've started our migration to the glite flavour of UMD 1, all Sites are expected to migrate to UMD 1 by the end of QR8
IPv6 support
All HG sites will slowly enable dual IP stack and add IPvs6 AAAA entries for all sites/nodes
Accounting
The customized regional accounting portal is operational since 2011. During the reporting period we have changed the IP of the accounting server. Currently the service is 195.251.55.206 and is password protected and available only for the site admins of the NGI_GRNET region. An automatic mechanism has been developed in order for the central database to be automatically updated once a month with new data retrieved by the APEL nodes. Moreover, a couple of VO related queries were supported in the portal. Those queries are 1. Number of jobs per VO supported by NGI_GRNET sites (all users are accounted) 2. Sum CPU hours per VO supported by NGI_GRNET sites (all users are accounted) 3. Number of jobs per VO supported by NGI_GRNET sites (Hellasgrid users only) 4. Sum CPU hours per VO supported by NGI_GRNET sites (Hellasgrid users only) Tables and graphs are produced for both of the above queries for better representation.
Help desk & Support Activities
TSA1.6 & TSA1.7 including highlights from both the NGI Operations and User Support Teams. During the period of reference, the main User Support achievements were the following: a) The installation of the WS-PGRADE at a new dedicated machine for better performance and its move under HellasGrid domain (https://usersportal.hellasgrid.gr). Also a related user’s guide has been created at the following link http://wiki.hellasgrid.gr/wiki/bin/view/HellasGrid/GOC/WS-PGRADEUserGuide. b) Collection of research papers related with HellasGrid/EGI infrastructure and their publication at HellasGrid site http://www.hellasgrid.gr/2011/12/19/publications/ Our plans include the provision of credentials for access to HellasGrid WS-PGRADE portal through the HellasGrid access site (https://access.hellasgrid.gr). This credentials will be also used for access to HellasGrid User Interfaces
