SA1.1 Activity Management

MEETINGS

  • Operations meeting, chaired and agenda preparation
  • Federated Cloud TF
  • Participation to the EUDAT f2f meeting, discussion of further collaboration on SAM and the Operations Portal, initial discussions about the establishment of a EGI-EUDAT MoU
  • Meeting with DANTE and eduPert for the establishment of a collaboration on network performance troubleshooting and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Kickoff meeting of EGI/EUDAT/PRACE pilot on information discovery: discussion of MAPPER and VERCE use cases

SA1.2 Security

  • synchronizing the code base of Pakiti at SourceForge with current version deployed in EGI.
  • SVG: 1 new issue reported - non-middleware - Issue is public.
  • SVG: 1 advisory issued for 'High' risk issue, which was past TD and fixed by EMI but not in UMD - issued as 'Amber'
  • Continued updating issue handling procedure including changes for post EMI/IGE.
  • Co-Trainer at Security Hands-On in Linkoping (NeiC) organised by Leif Nixon
  • Work on details of Central-Banning Miniproject
  • SSC-NGI runs in UK and DE preparations
  • participated in WLCG AAI on Storage meeting

SA1.3 Staged rollout

  • Preparation of the release notes and wiki releasefor UMD 2.4.0 to be released in 18th of February.
    • Emergency release of DPM, LFC and VOMS in order to be able to release them with next UMD version.
      • DPM & LFC and VOMS already finish the SR and will be ready for the UMD 2.4.0.
  • Preparation of the EMI WN-tarball, by colecting all the interested sites to serve as Early adopters.
  • First dry run of the QCG software

SA1.3 Integration

  • attending ENVRI meeting in Frascati
  • Kick off meeting Pilot 4. Monitoring and Resource discovery - EGI/EUDAT/PRACE collaboration activity
  • followup of MAPPER helpdesk workflows
  • QCG accounting issues about publishing into central APEL db being discussed

Repository

  • Regional Accounting Server packages and documentation sent out for testing.
  • EMI 3 APEL client testing continues.
  • Cloud Accounting - preparation for Cloudscape V demo and Community Forum demo
  • Storage Accounting - SSM2 information update sent out for StAR testing.

SA1.6 Helpdesk

  • Short-term incident with the GGUS portal on 04-02-2013 due to a network router issue
  • Monitoring tickets.
  • Implementing enhancements for monitoring dashboard
  • Implementing changes for next GGUS release
  • Preparing mile stone MS710 for JRA1

SA1.7 Support

  • kickoff of working group on nagios probes, under the coordination of COD, focusing on the assessment of EMI 2/EMI 3 probes
