Notes

Request for changes

  • change ‘EGI Classification Scheme’ to ‘Scientific Disciplines’
  • ‘EGI Classification Scheme’: (to be called “scientific disciplines”): need to show the tree structure either by using a web component such as:

http://www.sencha.com/examples/#ExamplePlace:linechart or by having a help button leading to a help page with the whole disciplines definition (e.g. http://go.egi.eu/sdc)

  • It should be possible to just tag the publication with “EGI” community without selecting any category (Antonis to check if this is possible)
  • “EGI projects”: remove
  • “EGI Countries” change to “Countries”
  • “National EGI Organisations”: change to “EGI Members”

Search capability

  • In “at a glance” section, there will be “EGI” (publications number); in the initial phase there will be no further tree levels per concept as is EGI specific and OpenAIRE wants to see how this takes up and how to manage the fact that each community will have different concepts
  • The statistics page will anyway contain the information on how many publications are tagged per value of each concept

Timeline

  • Implementation of changes requested above
  • EGI page with statistics
  • EGI landing page
  • Release by end of April
  • This should appear in beta.openairea.eu and after a testing period (around 20 days) will go to the production

Trust part, who can claim:

  • everybody with a valid login can see the community concept and claim to EGI
  • EGI.eu people will receive notification via email for each claim and can cancel the claim if it was not correct
  • Participation in EGI CF14: Antonis will attend and present:
