This section is directly contributed by the product teams. Please, add under your section the scheduled releases with a short comment about the updates introduced and where they are going to be released (EMI repositories, EPEL, private repositories ecc), linking external pages with these information is ok, but please add at least the expected date of the next release. It is important to discuss, within the URT, changes that may affect directly or indirectly other products. DPM/LFC

DPM/LFC is moving to a new build infrastructure and new development/testing lifecycle.

GFAL/lcg_utils

This release depends on Davix 0.2 (initial preview version of http/webdav toolkit) which is under EPEL review. It will take 2-3 weeks to be reviewed and released. Then, GFAL could be released in a few days.

Support calendar of the latest versions

  • The Product ID page has been updated with the support calendar for the products released in the EMI major releases. Since some product team has released new versions of their products the support calendar may have changed. Please, check the information about your products, and update the support calendar for the newest releases not yet listed in the page.
  • Added a field "Product main web page". Please, add a link to the reference site for your products (e.g. www.dcache.org for dCache).

Pull products from EPEL or other repositories

There have been not much progress from our side (holidays did not help). I am collecting examples of new product releases in EPEL stable and EPEL-testing to use for dry runs. This is mainly an activity internal to EGI.

    • I need the list of all and only packages composing the release, to isolate them from the other packages in EPEL.

EGI SA2 is also working on enabling the AppDB to be used as an entry point for UMD, still in progress.
