'HIGH' risk vulnerability concerning SLURM workload manager prolog script, which may allow a user 
to assume control of an arbitrary file on the system.

Sites running SLURM are recommended to update relevant components as soon as possible if they have not done so already.

Affected software details

This is fixed in SLURM versions 15.08.13 and 16.05.8 

All versions in use prior to these versions are likely to be affected, as the issue was introduced in 2005.

This vulnerability in the SLURM workload manager prolog script allows a user to assume 
control of an arbitrary file on the system and allow privilege escalation. 

While this is potentially serious, it is considered by the SVG to be quite difficult 
to exploit in the EGI environment.
