GLITE_LOCATION_VAR and GLITE_LOCATION_LOG are not really used |

BLAHP doesn't distinguish regular single jobs from MPI jobs
|
Problem addressed with gLite 3.2 Update 20, which introduces the possibility to specify a variable (blah_wn_temporary_home_dir) in the BLAH configuration file (/opt/glite/etc/blah.config) to change the location of the temporary job work directory in the WN.
If blah_wn_temporary_home_dir is not set, temporary directories where jobs are run are created wherever the batch system starts the job on the worker node (for PBS/Torque this is the location specified via the qsub -d option, defaulting to the user home, or a per-job directory if $tmpdir is set).
If blah_wn_temporary_home_dir is set, temporary directories for jobs will instead be created in the specified
location. This should be equivalent to what Torque's $tmpdir already does.
