Main page with instructions. In this page, you can provide your assessments for the EGI Global Tasks (MS115) and your self-assessment for the NGI International Tasks (MS116).

Notes:

  • Both milestones are an assessment of services from a managerial perspective'and should be reported as an evaluation of the services -do 'not report what your NGI did for those tasks/services as this is covered by the Quarterly Reports.
  • MS115: External assessments of NA2.2 EGI Dissemination and Marketing as a global task.
  • MS116: Self-assessment of NGI International Tasks, required for tasks where your NGI has effort. (The operations part is covered through a survey linked at the bottom of this page).

The content will be used for the following documents:

EGI dissemination is well organized. The Community and Technical Forum provide in-depth information on EGI.eu, other grid-related projects and regional grid infrastructures. The director letter is a good approach for keeping all EGI.eu partners informed of all ongoing activities. 5

NA2.2N Dissemination CRO NGI organizes annual meeting of the Croatian grid community. At the meeting grid community members present their use cases, experiences and challenges with grid technology. In addition, community is informed of the current status of national and EGI infrastructure and resources provided. In order to keep grid community updated with status, activities and usage of national grid infrastructure, in October 2011 we started publishing monthly reports. Reports are written in Croatian language and contain important operations actions and usage statistics per institute in a given period. 5
NA2.3N Policy Development CRO NGI participates in policies development as much as possible given that there is no funding for this activity. CRO NGI focuses on providing feedback to operations-related procedures. NGI-level procedures are aligned with EGI ones as much as possible. 5

NA3.3N Requirements Gathering CRO NGI is not funded for this activity. CRO NGI users and system administrators are encouraged to submit requirements for grid middleware and applications improvements. 5
NA3.3N Application Database CRO NGI is not funded for this activity. We encourage Croatian users to use this application for choosing appropriate virtual organizations for their needs. Due to lack of funding we do not contribute directly to the database application. 5
NA3.3N Training Marketplace CRO NGI is not funded for this activity. We advertise the application to CRO NGI users and system administrators. 5
NA3.3N Consultancy CRO NGI is not funded for this activity. We try to provide assistance to users and other NGIs through formal (GGUS, various operations meetings and workgroups) and informal (direct contact during conferences and meetings, Skype) channels. 5
