This Technology area provides an overview of the studies, proofs of concepts, experiments and other activities that examine a certain problem and a potential technical solution. Such experiments need not be perfectly engineered; the aim is to demonstrate the feasibility of further technical examination in a more formal context, such as publicly funded projects.
