What is the purpose of the VOMRS Support?
The purpose of the VOMRS SU is to handle tickets assigned to it through the GGUS system. These tickets can originate from a user or from operations. The VOMRS SU will deal with problems concerning the following issues: The VOM Registration Service (VOMRS) is a server that provides the means for registering members of a VO, and coordination of this process among the various VO and grid resource administrators. It consists of a database to maintain user registration and institutional information, and a web user interface (web UI) for input of data into the database and manipulation of that data.
For which components does VOMRS provide support?
The VOMRS support unit deals with 1st level support issues for the VOMRS service of VOs ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb, DTEAM, UNOSAT, GEANT4, GEAR, SIXT, OPS configured on the CERN VOMRS server. The support unit does not provide support for the VOMRS server middleware.

A ticket is usually assigned to the VOMRS support unit by TPM.

The persons responsible for VOMRS are: People at CERN (IT Central services) and Athens University for the VOMRS DTEAM VO instance.
