What is the purpose of the NGI_FI Support?

NGI_FI Support deals with operations related to the Finnish National Grid Infrastructure. The support group monitors the state of the Finnish infrastructure using the tools provided by both EGI and CSC. It also provides general USER support.

For which components does NGI_FI provide support?

We provide support for ARC middleware related problems for the users of NGI_FI resources.

Which quality of service (QoS) will you provide?

Who will assign tickets to NGI_FI Support?

TPM (or any SU) can assign general requests for support from users using the NGI_FI resources. There are no special permissions required for this SU.

Are tickets typically solved in NGI_FI Support or reassigned elsewhere?

NGI_FI support will solve tickets or forward relevant tickets or information if required.

Who is responsible for NGI_FI Support?

NGI_FI Support is run by CSC – IT Center for Science. CSC management is directly responsible for NGI_FI the support team and the flow of operations.

What documentation is available on NGI_FI Support?

There will be a wiki hosted at CSC which site administrators will be able access. However, we are still developing our web pages for this purpose and a new entry point to the data will be published here later. There is general information for NGI_FI users is also available at www.csc.fi.

What is the usual "Type of Issue" for the tickets of NGI_FI?
