The purpose of the ISIN (Instruments and Sensors Infrastructure on the Network) is to provide support to the users of Instruments and Sensors Infrastructure on the Network concerning the integration of those remotely controlled instruments to the existing grid infrastructures and in particular with the EGI infrastructure.

At the moment responsible for the ISIN Support is a support team that participates in the DORII project. Support will be continued after the DORII project ends by more or less the same team members with appropriate changes based on personnel that will be available at that time.
