What is the purpose of the Data Transfer Support?

The purpose of the EGI Data Transfer support unit in GGUS is to handle problems associated with EGI Data Transfer service operations activity, e.g. handling user requests.

EGI Data Transfer support unit will provide support for the EGI Data Transfer service in the context of EGI activities.

Who will assign tickets to Data Transfer Support?

All GGUS tickets assigned to EGI Data Transfer SU either by TPM or directly by the users are handled through GGUS system.

Are tickets typically solved in Data Transfer Support or reassigned elsewhere?

EGI Data Transfer supporters both resolve the matter and solve the ticket or they assign the ticket to another support unit.

Who is responsible for Data Transfer Support?

Responsible for EGI Data Transfer SU are FTS and WebFTS developers and instance administrators and can be reached through egi-data-transfer-support@mailman.egi.eu mailing list.
