Special Interest groups are communities with a shared interest in advancing a specific area of knowledge, learning or technology where members cooperate to affect or to produce solutions within their particular field.

Each group can have medium-term goals that are not immediately achievable.

Operational Level Agreement (OLA)	D. Zilaskos (AUTH)		Meetings	January 2011 The Resource Centre OLA is approved. The new mandate of the OLA Task Force will encompass: the drafting of the Resource Infrastructure Provider OLA (for the Local Services) the drafting of the EGI.eu OLA (for EGI Global Services) October 2010 Mandate: to propose a plan for an extension and further development of the current OLA framework of EGI. Tools regionalization	P. Solagna (EGI.eu)			At the January 2011 OMB it was decided that a better integration of regionalized operational tools is needed and some top-priority use cases need be identified for discussion with the PTs. NGIs with plans of local deployment of tools are encouraged to participate to this task force.
