This procedure describe steps which needs to be taken to set up and perform bidding process for service provisioning.

SPM process manager The expressions of interest is assessed against (additional experts beyond the EGI.eu staff and EGI.eu Executive Board may be asked to review the expressions of interest):
  1. The mandatory baseline technical service that will be delivered by the partner.
  2. The affordability (i.e. total cost) of the service to EGI and the risks associated with any matching funding that the partner will need
  3. Any additional technical service that the partner wishes to propose as part of their offer

SPM process owner A prioritised short-list (including any opportunities for refinement) is presented to the EGI.eu Executive Board based on:
  1. The technical and managerial credibility of the solution being offered.
  2. The SLA being provided around the solution.
  3. The cost of the solution to EGI.eu.

EGI.eu Executive Board Propose to the EGI Council which partners should deliver the service.
