2. ACTIVITY REPORT

2.1. Progress Summary

TR-03-METU and TR-10-ULAKBIM sites computing element were upgraded to gLite3.2 and SL5.5, also they were configured as glite-CREAM.

TR-03-METU site DPM server was upgraded to gLite3.2 and SL5.5.

All NGI_TR sites are configured in order to support dteam VO and sites are reconfigured for updating VOMS server of biomed VO.

National helpdesk and accounting system integration to EGI is continued.

2.2. Main Achievements

TUBITAK ULAKBIM is completed the bid that a total of 120 servers with 128Gbyte of memory installed provided 5760 CPU cores to users. These 5760 CPU cores are available for users in ULAKBIM sites.

New site in Ataturk University with 256 CPU cores were installed and this site is being tested to be placed in production.

New computing nodes and an user interface server were added to TR-05-BOUN site.

2.3. Issues and mitigation

Issue Description Mitigation Description
TR-07-PAMUKKALE site was closed Although NGI_TR Operation Center is supporting middleware management of all TR sites, NGI_TR Operation Center could not get the sufficient hardware and operating system management support from site and site administrators. Also, after installing the new computing elements (5760 CPU cores) to TUBITAK ULAKBIM sites, NGI_TR resources are adequate for user needs.
