15/11/2010 Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, Serbia EGI Grid training at UOB Faculty of Chemistry 15 SCL's Grid training team organized the one-day EGI dissemination and training event at Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. It was held on 15 November 2010 at the computational classroom of Faculty of Chemistry.

The goal of the training was to introduce chemical researchers in utilization of the Grid and had a more practical character. It included a short introduction in using Linux command line interface and practical guides to submitting various types of jobs, data manipulation and file catalogs on Grid with emphasis on hands on sessions. Participant also learnt about the mechanism of authorization and authentication of Grid users and started a procedure of obtaining certificate from AEGIS CA and becoming a member of AEGIS VO.
