Report Generator

The first version went life on June 25th 2012.

GGUS structure

Support units

A couple of new support units have been introduced during the last quarter. They are

  • 2nd level service support unit -- REBUS
  • 3rd level EMI Support unit -- EMI Common
  • 3rd level EMI Support unit -- EMI Common Data Library
  • 3rd level software expert support unit -- LHC Experiment Dashboard

VOs

VOs “vo.cta.in2p3.fr” was added to the list of VOs which provide support via GGUS.

GGUS web portal

  • Added new fields to track which middleware product is affected
  • Updated the info section with new "did you knows?"

GGUS system

  • Update GGUS service certificate used for signing alarm mails
  • Implemented interface tests being processed after each GGUS release

Interfaces with other ticketing systems

  • Set up interface for new NGI_FRANCE ticketing system OTRS. Interface is scheduled for going life in September.

GGUS - SNOW interface

  • Finished implementation work on GGUS-SNOW interface.
  • Implemented distinction between incidents and change requests

xGUS

Set up new instances "France Grilles" for the french national VO vo.france-grilles.fr which is a catch-all VO for multiple communities. Set up new instances "NGI_SI" for the national grid initiative of Slovenia.

High availability

  • Auto-switching between Logic Servers was implemented.
  • On call duty service integration is done.

3. Issues and Mitigation

Issue Description Mitigation Description
Collaboration of GGUS with CSIRT Assessment of adaption of GGUS access model to meet the needs of CSIRT. This discussion is still ongoing.

4. Plans for the next period

GGUS report generator

Implement missing features and bug fixing. The final version will be available by end of 2012.
