Staged rollout
Assessment of progress in 2012
Completed Activities and Milestones
- Development and implementation at LIP of a web application to record the staged rollout tests [1]. This is used in the quarterly report metrics.
Milestones not accomplished
- Missing Early Adopter teams for some middleware components [2]
Plans for 2013
- Providing support to the current UMD-1 and UMD-2 releases.
- Preparation of UMD-3 to include EMI-3 and IGE final releases.
- Making a final effort to get EA to the missing components list [3].
- Evaluate and propose changes and improvements in the SW workflow, in order to adapt to the Post-EMI/IGE. In order to fulfill this task, continue a close collaboration between SA1.3 and SA2 in order to accommodate the necessary changes.
- Continuing to follow the Virtualization and Cloud Task Force, and access it's implications to the SW provisioning.
