2. ACTIVITY REPORT

2.1. Progress Summary

We have replaced the Life Sciences Grid hardware. Currently, we are busy to decommission the site HTC-BIGGRID. This site is going to be part of the Dutch Life Sciences grid. In a few months it will reappear as LSG-HTC. We have started up the RFC procedures for the procurement of new hardware. We have certified LSG-HUB and LSG-VU.

2.2. Main Achievements

The availability of the top-level BDIIs was 100%. The ROD team did not exceed the ROD index thresholds. Certified two new sites. Upgraded our dCache to 2.2 which allows for protocols like webdav with httpBasicAuthentication which will be appreciated by a number of our users. We have an "appsportal" in production now. User applications can be put into this portal which will allow users to run their application on the grid and collect the output though the portal. So they don't come into direct contact with the grid at all.

2.3. Issues and mitigation
