Purpose

The purpose of this page is to keep track of the things to be organised for the User Community Support booth at UF2011 in Vilnius. Activities and requirements for the booth are being coordinated by Richard McLennan - inputs and proposals should be forwarded to richard.mclennan@egi.eu and Cc'd to ucst@egi.eu.

Poster templates, PPT Presentation etc

Participants wishing to prepare posters, flyers or stand alone presentations are encouraged to use one of EGI.eu's preformated templates which can be found in the EGI.eu web pages at:

Equipment needed

- In this section you (the proposer) should add any item you think you would want to have available at the booth, ie this is your Statement of Requirements


- electric power - Electric lighting plus 2 x 2 mtr extension leads with 4 sockets each. Max total power rqt 1.5 KW

- Laptop/computer to run presentations, screencasts and demos

- big screen to display demos and screencasts/projector

- A4 printer (do we really need this? SB)

- Box to receive paper survey.feedback forms?

- Glass bowl of sweets (always popular on stands) (for visitors, not EGI staff, SB)

- Internet: Wireless or Cable

- Once Requirements are formally accepted by the organisers, UCST will populate this section with details of what is expected to be made available:


- white octanorm panels/walls; Booth (3m x 2m)? with three walls, adjacent to EGI booth.

- constructive ceiling;

- 2 spotlights;

- 1 table and 2 chairs;

- fascia with company name (up to 20 letters);

- carpeting;

- LCD screen (Ø 17; 19)

- 42 in TV display on stand
