2. ACTIVITY REPORT
2.1. Progress Summary
- Attendance to Operations Management Board and Operations meetings.
- Maintenance of NGI_MARGI Helpdesk.
- Participation in survey: Usage and future maintenance of deployed software.
- Dealing in timely manner with all security issues broadcasted by the EGI-CSIRT team.
- Update of CA RPMs: EGI Trust Anchor release 1.44-1 and 1.46-1.
- Regular maintenance of NGI_MARGI Nagios box
- Operation of MARGI CA.
- Operation of BDII/WMS/LB/VOMS/PX/LFC services for NGI_MARGI.
- Regular middleware updates on all NGI_MARGI sites.
2.2. Main Achievements
- New HPC site certified with 1008 CPU cores (2016 logical CPUs), 30TB storage, QDR infiniband
2.3. Issues and mitigation

MK-03-FINKI was not preset in myEGI site, and thus did not report any availability | We raised a ticket and the issue is still pending. The matter got more complicated when our nagios box suffered major hardware failure and we needed to reinstall the box |
Accounting portal did not receive data from the MK-03-FINKI | This issue was quickly resolved by the accounting team |
Major hardware failure at the MK-01-UKIM_II | The site was unavailable for 2 weeks. Now the site is up, reinstalled with EMI-1, and we plan to enlarge its capacity with GPGPU nodes. |
