2. ACTIVITY REPORT

2.1. Progress Summary

  1. Evaluation of DIRAC tool to be deployed within the Ibergrid infrastructure.
  2. Last integration steps and testing of RT helpdesk with central GGUS interface.
  3. Ibergrid sites publishing userDN information for their accounting records.
  4. Collaborating in writing a site renaming procedure draft to be used generally, https://wiki.egi.eu/wiki/Draft_PROC
  5. Provide comments to the VO decommission procedure, https://wiki.egi.eu/wiki/PROC13draft
  6. It has been run some training Security incidents in some of the IBERGRID sites, in order to teach them how to react in case of some fail security.

2.2. Main Achievements

  1. 100% A/R in May, June and July 2012 for the TopBDII service (after the implementation of the TopBDII HA mechanism).

2.3. Issues and mitigation

Issue Description Mitigation Description
There was an issue related with the Ibergrid Regional Nagios:
  • There was an external issue related with the network at CESGA which affected to the Ibergrid Regional Nagios. The incident had place on Saturday 9th June, and lasted to Monday 11th June. GGUS ticket #83124 was open in order to do not take into account that period in the A/R metrics.
 Re-computation already processed and ticket is closed and verified.
WMSs used for Nagios checks hit by high risk vulnerability EGI-SVG-2012-4039. Emergency update being applied
