2. ACTIVITY REPORT

2.1. Progress Summary

Regular maintenance of national SAM Nagios, VO Nagios, TopBDII. Regular maintenance of WMS, LB, VOMS, UI, MyProxy services provided for Auger, FedCloud and VOCE VOs.

Regular activities undertaken in EGI CSIRT, including taking several weekly shifts and attending weekly/monhtly phone conferences. Heavy involvement in monitoring of a critical kernel vulnerability detected in May 2013.

Continued coordination and technical work of software support, details in SA1.7-QR12. Number of tickets handled in this period is lower (125 vs. 173 and 192 in preceeding quarters), which is an expected drop in the main vacation period. The ratio of solved tickets is 24% which remains within the usual range (20-30%).

Continued support of FedCloud activities (resource provider, rOCCI development, support for user communities).

Tests of srm tape storage for ATLAS user data (first use in ATLAS), done in collaboration with CESNET Data Storage group, result will be reported in ATLAS Computing Workshop

Evaluation of Dirac File Catalog for VO auger usage. Collaboration with DIRAC developers, work in progress, results planned for TF.

Bidding proposals for global tasks where CESNET is involved were prepared.

MPI site started support of Drihm.eu.

2.2. Main Achievements

Upgrade to UMD/EMI 2 completed, several services (WMS, CREAM, VOMS) upgraded to UMD3 (SHA-2 support, bug fixies).
