2. ACTIVITY REPORT

2.1. Progress Summary

NGI_BA infrastructure and operations adapted to be independent from SEE ROC and their provided central services. Transition to fully operational NGI finished in January due to the holiday season mismatch between countries.

No serious infrastructure problems detected in this quarter in certified sites. Issues with flaky networking in one site prevented it from being certified.

Work on NGI infrastructure transition delayed addition of one site (BA-03-ETFSA) to EGI infrastructure. Plans adjusted to this quarter.

Regarding the transition away from gLite-3.1, the decision was made to wait for official roll-out of EMI release. Due to the requirements of EMI some of the equipment will have to be replaced and/or upgraded.

2.2. Main Achievements

Establishing NGI_BA as fully operational NGI within EGI with all the needed core NGI services verified.

2.3. Issues and mitigation
