How To Claim Publications related to EGI-InSPIRE in OpenAIRE

EGI-InSPIRE is an FP7 project that has the obligation to make freely available the scientific publications that are possible thanks to the funded effort throught the project. The scientific publications that are possible thanks to EGI-InSPIRE should be claimed in the OpenAIRE portal so that they are associated to EGI-InSPIRE.


The obligation comes from the presence of the Special Clause 39 in the Consortium Agreement: beneficiaries shall deposit an electronic copy of the published version or the final manuscript accepted for publication of a scientific publication relating to foreground published before or after the final report in an institutional or subject-based repository at the moment of publication. Beneficiaries are required to make their best efforts to ensure that this electronic copy becomes freely and electronically available to anyone through this repository: 1) immediately if the scientific publication is published "open access", i.e. if an electronic 'version is also available free of charge via the publisher, or 2) within 9 months of publication.
