- AAI ELIXIR integration completed in Spring; changes in IdP/Perun ELIXIR
- Cloud integration is priority now, plan to be prepared for fedcloud f2f meeting, pilot in preparation with OS sites supporting OpenID Connect; purpose is native AAI utilization on top of the cloud management framework, or by using translation mechanisms - where this makes sense, all interfaces will have to be upgraded, for some it will be complex
- CheckIn service value document to be finalized by Gergely for future distribution to BBMRI, MoBRAIN

Task SA2.2 Technical User Support
- 8 SLAs agreed and 5 SLAs in progress
- Exploring partnership with PRACE Centre of Excellence projects to support large HPC requests
- Finalised CRM process
Task SA2.3 ELIXIR
- Progress with use cases:
- cBioPortal: Portal is running insite the CESNET cloud, but as a local deployment with no connection to other services. There are no active users, the community is busy with preparing their next project. Service use will depend on that.
- Metagenomics Use Case (CSC and CESNET): Ported into the CSC OS cloud. Kimmo is trying to replicate it, but with no result so far. CESNET is working on replacing the OS-specific part with Terraform ANSIBLE OCCI scripts
- Insyght use case (CNRS) prepared and uploaded VM into AppDB. Next step is endorsement and launch in cluster mode
- Phenomenal: Running in the Phenomenal cloud, with Terraform and Ansible. Will try to use the CESNET Terraform integrator to port it to FedCloud.
- Progress with infrastructure:
- Problem with registering into the ELIXIR VO, probably because of recent PERUN changes at CESNET. UCST is working on this.
- EGI Operations need to agree with EBI about the RC and RP OLAs, and the updated terminologies in the following EGI policies: DocDB #2932, 2933, 2934, 2935
- Events:
- Submitted 2 flash talk suggestions to the next ELIXIR AHM: EGI DataHub and Open Data Platform; File Transfer Service (FTS3)
Task SA2.4 BBMRI
- Produced D6.8: Analysis of requirements on biobank and study workflows (https://documents.egi.eu/document/2931). It's in external and AMB review now.

Task SA2.10 Disaster Mitigation
- Improving the storm surge simulation of Typhoon Haiyan based on new radar data from Philippine and better integration of atmospheric model and oceanic model.
- Malaysia Flood: New simulations will be started soon after Malaysia provides their simulation results and data to Taiwan. And further improvements shall be ongoing by discussions between scientific groups of Malaysia and Taiwan.
- Indonesia Forest Fire Dust Transportation: still waiting data from Indonesia. ITB (ID) is coordinating related agencies to get the required data.
- Collaboration with DRIHM: next focus is to identify how to port their portal to DMCC infrastructure and probably both sides could work together on some case studies.
- Will host a 1.5-day workshop at next APAN meeting in India on early Feb. 2017. Will also engage disaster mitigation communities in India and plan for training events in the future in collaboration with APAN.
