Task NA2.2 Strategy, Business Development and Exploitation

• Strategic Planning and Evaluation
  • Updated the EGI Implementation strategy in the live document
  • Supported the preparation and execution of the EGI Council workshop (28-29 June) to discuss role of EGI in the European Cloud Initiative
  • Produced policy brief on benefits of collaborating with commercial cloud providers
  • Strategy on exploitation of Copernicus data: organised meetings with DG Growth and drafted a strategy document
  • Prepared and submitted an abstract for session on exploitation of Copernicus Data at DI4R
  • Contributed to two surveys on exploitation of Copernicus and EC Space strategy

• Impact Assessment
  • Defined an activity plan to prepare an EGI impact brochure to be ready by DI4R and ICT Proposers days (Sep 2016)

• Service & Solution Strategy
  • Held SSB #20: 19.07.2016
  • IMS work
    • SPM: finalized/approved 3 of 5 procedures; call to be set up with Thomas for understanding other 2 and if needed
    • Continual Improvement: full page complete and draft of procedures for review
  • FitSM Trainings
    • Confirmed Foundation at DI4R + blog post
    • All pages set up for Sept and Nov: Website; Indico; Eventbrite
    • Some promo emails circulated
    • Call + service offer prepared for USA contact: All 4 levels
    • INFN FND+ADV tentatively scheduled for October: waiting specific dates and location (Pisa/Rome)
