  • Planning a BBMRI-CC meeting in June, to give heads up to everybody, proceed with the storage implementation and start preparing the pilots in biobanks in the fall this year. But that is dependent on having (2) done - in emergency we can do it without it, but it would be sort of non-achievement.

  • CDSTAR - Base system is Dockerised (docker containers); To decide about licence and then release. (The system will be offered for download and installation at local (home) premises. There are a list of people interested in each Working Group. The idea is having specific meetings and discussions on the topic. We are starting to use OpenProject as environment for discussion (forum), wiki, documents and so.
    • R Working group. Different services are needed in this topic, some of them already available (HCMR RvLab, some R services from VLIZ, etc.) Need to define requirements for EGI resources, need link to AAI, Lifewatch Data Explorer, DOI mint, etc.
    • Python and Workflows WG: Use of Galaxy and Elastic Cloud. NFS used but across-sites solution needed (EGI Open Data platform?).
    • Geoserver WG: Link with data explorer. Link with R.
    • Citizen Science WG: Natusfera released, link with species classification needed (some test with Portuguese flora, Orchidees and Mosquito tiger). New use cases coming. Pybossa to crop only the target.
    • Semantics WG: Goals: state of art, define ontology creation process, forum on the topic, etc. A workshop will be held on June on the topic.
