1. Middleware releases and staged rollout

1.1 EMI-1 release status

1.2 Staged Rollout

1.2.1 gLite 3.2 security patches

Two gLite 3.2 security patches will soon come to staged rollout, will need fast response and testing:

  • Torque Utils, Server, Clients
  • APEL Publisher

1.2.2 UMD1

There are several updates under verification and staged rollout. The target freeze date to have the staged rollout done and reports published is on the 23 January. The UMD1.5 release is scheduled for the 30 January. The schedule is https://wiki.egi.eu/wiki/UMD_1.5.0_Contents

2. Operational Issues

2.1 Requirements

The current requirements submission campaign closes on January 19th. In the following days they will be collected to be presented during the F2F OMB meeting.

2.2 Sites 'suspended' or 'candidate'

As discussed in one of the previous meetings, the sites in suspended or candidate status for too long ( before 01 June 2011) should be closed.

  • COD received some GGUS tickets about sites that will be certified in the next months to not be closed.
  • The other sites 'suspended' or 'candidate' for more than 6 months will be closed without further warning
