1. Middleware releases and staged rollout
1.1 News from URT
- dCache
- 2.6.* update expected in one week time, fix the SSL problem affecting 2.6.2. To be released in UMD-3
- 2.2.* update expected during the same period, implementing SHA-2 support. To be released in UMD-2
- VOMS
- VOMS client 3.0.2 released on July 2nd, bug fixes
- VOMS Admin/Server update expected in one week time.
- ARC
- ARC 3.0.3 expected end of July (bug fix release)
- DPM
- DPM release expected during this month
- Storage accounting fully integrated with the SE
- EMIR support packages distributed together with DPM

- mpi jobs are not working well submitted through the cream CE only take 1 node as resource although we ask for 2 in the jdl.

J.Pina Comment: gLexec needs more early adopters to cover all the use cases from the different VOs.
1.3 Next UMD releases
- End of July update for UMD-3: to release in UMD the dCache release (depending on the release date of dCache).
- dCache 2.2.* with the SHA-2 support will be made available for UMD-2 as well
2 Operational issues
2.1 Updates from DMSU
Nothing to report
2.2 Unsupported middleware update
- StoRM: UMD-1 installation of StoRM must be updated or decommissioned by August 31st (broadcast circulated)
- Probe turned to critical starting from today --> alarms in the operations dashboard
- dCache: current timeline: end of September
- Replacement not available yet, the timeline may change if PT agrees to extend support of UMD-1 version.
- SHA-2 required from October 1st: 2.6 golden release supports it, a patch for 2.2.* golden release is under release.
