What is the purpose of the EGI Federated Cloud Support?
Several National Grid Infrastructures (NGIs) of the European Grid Infrastructure are now offering private clouds to their national researchers. To facilitate the setup of a pan-European federated cloud from these resources the EGI-InSPIRE project established a Federated Cloud Task Force and setup a Federated Cloud testbed from resources operated by members of the task force. The testbed is already available for use cases, access can be requested at http://go.egi.eu/cloud. Sites of the testbed provide user support through this support unit.
