Globus
The update mentioned at the previous meeting applying a patch from ARC developers to globus-gssapi-gsi is now in EPEL stable (or soon will be in the case of EPEL 7). The proposed patch was accepted upstream, but there has not been an upstream release yet, though it is merged in git now.

- EPEL6: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2017-7439405929
- EPEL7: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2017-6286391434
A small set of minor updates from upstream was released (globus-common, globus-ftp-client, globus-gridftp-server-control), these are available in EPEL testing. Note that the EPEL 5 update was pushed to stable with the help of karma from Alejandro in order to be in stable before the EPEL 5 end-of-life on March 31.

Since EPEL 5 will be end-of-life on March 31, there will be no more Globus updates for EPEL 5. The updates for EPEL 6 and EPEL 7 will continue as before.
xrootd
Xrootd 4.6.0-8 will soon have been in EPEL testing for 14 days and will be pushable to EPEL stable tomorrow. I have not received any bug reports about this EPEL release, and the bugs that where reported against the previous EPEL releases of the 4.6.0 version have been addressed. Note that the EPEL 5 update was pushed to stable already with the help of karma from Alejandro in order to be in stable well before the EPEL 5 end-of-life on March 31.

Since EPEL 5 will be end-of-life on March 31, there will be no more xrootd updates for EPEL 5. The updates for EPEL 6 and EPEL 7 will continue as before.
