2. ACTIVITY REPORT
2.1. Progress Summary
Stabile operation of the GE-01-GRENA site, upgrade of site to glite 3.2. The Advanced Research WRF (ARW) modeling system for the weather research and forecasting is installed on GE-01-GRENA site and simulations were performed using set of 2 domains with resolutions of 15 and 5 km. Continue assessment of research groups at universities and research institutes interested in participation of GRID activities. Two applications are in testing mode: 1)Modeling of some biochemical processes with the purpose of realization of their thin and purposeful synthesis and 2)The generation of low Z-ion (Deuterium, Tritium, He3, He4) plasma overdense bunches with desired relativistic velocities by laser ultra-intense pulses. Regular updates of the NGI development plan in Georgia.
2.2. Main Achievements
